ShContemporary 2008

Boers-Li Gallery is pleased to announce that we will be participating in ShContemporary 2008, China¡¯s most internationally recognized art fair this year held in its second annual iteration, from 9-13 September 2008. We will be located in booth number C18.

This year, we will be bringing several important young Chinese artists to the fair. Qiu Xiaofei, who has spent the last several years working almost exclusively on sculptural and installation work, returns to painting with five small canvases. Liang Yuanwei expands her recent concerns with light and form by pushing them into three-dimensional painted sculptures. Liu Wei offers an oil painting from his most recent abstract Outcast series. Hou Yong shows one of the most impressive canvases from his series of sea paintings. Chen Shaoxiong offers several still paintings from one of his larger animation projects, Ink Things. Qiu Anxiong contributes both a new painting and a series of prints derived from his New Classic of Mountains and Seas project.

If you would like more information about our participation in ShContemporary or have any general questions, please contact us.
